Carolyn Gavin
Carolyn lives in Toronto, Canada with her husband Derek, daughter Lily and English Bulldog Ziggy. She lives and works in 120 year old Victorian house in a quiet, leafy downtown neighborhood. Growing up in South Africa, Carolyn has warm memories of a life filled with exotic color, rich imagery and intense contrast. She studied 3 years of Graphic Design and years of painting with renowned South African artist Nina Campbell-Quine. All of this filters into Carolyn's current work. She designs for her recycled paper company ecojot as well as freelance through her agent Lilla Rogers Studio. Carolyn has worked on a variety of projects including four fabric collections for P&B Textiles as well as 2 scrapbooking lines for K&Co., Packaging for Swedish Organic Candy, Swiss Chocolate, Holiday cards for Unicef, American Girl, Target and Land of Nod. Carolyn enjoys traveling, painting, music, movies, gardening, yoga and riding her bike. She can also be found with her nose in a book when she's not working.
