Ingela Arrhenius
Swedish Ingela Peterson Arrhenius was born in 1967. Art and design has always played a big part of Ingela’s life and before her career as an illustrator took off Ingela  worked as an art assistant in Stockholm. 
Ingela then moved on to study advertising and graphic design at an art school inStockholm, SOC Berghs, for 2 years. In 1992 Ingela set up her own business as a freelance illustrator working on an international level cross advertising, design, publishing and editorial work. More recently she’s been commissioned for creating print patterns for fabrics (mainly children's wear), stationary aswell as packaging, product design, home accessories and toys.
Some her most honorable assignments has been for the Swedish post office where she was asked to design a collection of stamps. Last year she was honored to do a limited edition series for Boitherm with illustrations that covered different products and christmas boxes.
 Another prestigious project was to create some press ads (prompting family day out) on behalf of LOCOG – London 2012. She’s collaborated with Stockholm Modern Museum which resulted in several products. Ingela also has an ongoing partnership with UK card and stationary specialist Lagom, where she’s created many cards stocked and sold nationwide. She has also been commissioned by the Taiwan Tourist Board to create a visual identity which recently was lauched.
Ingela’s posters and designer toys are spread and loved all around the world. By adults as well as children. She’s passionate about retro style in general which is clearly reflected in her work as well as her joy for typography and colour.
She lives in a little red house 20 minutes bike ride from Stockholm with husband, two boys and a dog.
