Petra Börner
Petra Börner grew up in a small town in Sweden during the 70’s and her Scandinavian roots are prominent in her work, often merging natural and magical elements, with bold lines and colours. Her ambition to work as an artist and illustrator began at a Stockholm animation studio and developed through freelance commitments for fashion and interior magazines during her fashion studies at Central St Martins in London. Bridging her illustrations with fashion & lifestyle design, she started collaborating with fashion and interior brands, illustrating award winning book jackets and creating collectable embroidered one off- pieces and prints.
She now divides her time between the continued demand for commissioned artwork, while further expanding her own work and product range. Her clients include:
Louis Vuitton, Jonathan Adler, The world of Interiors, Harpers Bazaar, Design Museum, Random House, Cacharel, Vanessa Bruno, Nordiska Kompaniet, Bally, White’s Books.
